Hi, I’m Phoebe

A Journey Home Through Sound

For much of my life, I followed a path that many would consider successful.

Originally from Hong Kong, I built a career in one of the world's leading international accounting firms, dedicating more than two decades to the profession and becoming an Audit Partner in 2012. I thrived on responsibility, achievement, and continuous growth. From the outside, life appeared full and accomplished. Yet beneath the structure, the deadlines, and the professional milestones, there was a quieter voice calling for something more.

In 2019, I was introduced to sound healing and attended my first singing bowl training in Hong Kong. Although I could not fully explain it at the time, something within me deeply resonated. The sounds seemed to bypass the mind and speak directly to the heart. It felt familiar, comforting, and strangely like coming home.

A doorway had opened.

For the first time, I began exploring a world beyond logic and analysis—a world of vibration, energy, intuition, and deep inner listening.

When I moved to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2021, that connection deepened. What began as curiosity gradually became a calling.

I immersed myself in the study of sound healing, training in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Along the way, I completed practitioner and advanced studies with The Sound Healing Academy and learned from renowned teachers, including global gong pioneer Don Conreaux. My journey has also led me to explore Reiki, meditation, shamanic practices, Akashic Records, Psych-K®, energy healing, and other pathways of self-discovery and personal transformation.

Yet the most profound learning did not come from certificates or courses.

It came through the experience of sound itself.

With every strike of the gong, every resonance of a singing bowl, and every moment of stillness between the sounds, I found myself peeling back layers of conditioning, expectation, and striving. Sound became a mirror, a teacher, and a guide—helping me reconnect with parts of myself that had long been forgotten.

Today, I offer private sound healing sessions, public sound baths, retreats, corporate wellbeing experiences, and collaborative events throughout Auckland. Since beginning this work, I have facilitated more than 100 sound healing experiences and supported hundreds of participants through their own journeys of relaxation, reflection, healing, and inner connection.

My approach is gentle, intuitive, and heart-led. I do not believe healing is about fixing something that is broken. Rather, I believe it is about creating space to remember who we truly are beneath the noise of everyday life.

Whether through the deep resonance of the gong, the soothing tones of crystal singing bowls, guided meditation, or simply moments of silence, my intention is to create a safe and supportive space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and access their own inner wisdom.

Today, I no longer see my corporate career and my healing work as separate paths.

My years in the professional world taught me discipline, resilience, leadership, and the importance of truly listening. Sound healing taught me presence, trust, intuition, and the wisdom of the heart.

Together, they have shaped who I am today.

To me, sound healing is not simply about relaxation.

It is about remembering.

Remembering the stillness beneath the noise.

Remembering the wisdom within.

Remembering the wholeness that has always been there.

This is the path I choose now:

  • A path of resonance, not resistance.

  • A path of authenticity, not expectation.

  • A path of deep listening—to myself and to those I serve.

If something in this story resonates with you, I warmly invite you to join me.

Let the sound guide us home.

With love,

Phoebe
